We have two airports close to Šibenik. Split airport is 47 minutes and Zadar airport is 50 minutes away. At all airports, you can organize transfers with official transport service of event, taxi or Uber. Price per vehicle is approximately 50 Euro one way. If one vehicle is shared by more passengers, you can split the cost. Transfers are at your own cost. You can pay in cash or credit cards. It is available 24 hours per day. There are also a lot of vans available for 8 passengers plus driver.
The local currency is Croatian Kuna. The exchange rate is approximately 1 Euro = 7,4 Kuna. The rate is stable.
Dress code: whatever you feel comfortable in. No suits, ties and hills… Just t-shirts, jeans, jackets, other sportswear.
It is nice if you say these when you book the sailboat because then you can book the same sailboat and you don't need to change the sailboat. If you need some advice on the route or excursions please contact our customer service.
We have an app where you can see the crew list of every boat with all details, of course if participant allows this because we have to respect the GDPR. If participants don't give permission to be in the business community, then you will see only their names. In this case, you can contact our customer service desk and we will try to connect you with your person of interest.
If it's raining, we are sailing like real sailors 🙂 If it's storm, we are staying in the marina and we have more time for lectures, business networking and fun. It's like in snowstorm - you are staying in a hotel and drinking :).
Croatia is a member of EU and here we have a digital single market in EU. So, the costs will be according to the rules of your telecom operator.
Each sailboat has their own WiFi. Also hotels and restaurants have their WiFi, sometimes even a public space too. In the event venue there is also free WiFi.
Sunglasses and swimming suit for sure :). List of recommendation you will receive approx 10 days before the event.
The sailing route is from Šibenik to Marina Piškera on Kornati National Park and back. Every morning a skippers' meeting is scheduled where a decision of the route is made according to the weather forecast.
Take your personal drugs and Dramina or something similar if you get seasick. There is also a medical help available to you at all times.
Once you finish the registration in the registration area and all formalities in the charter agency, you will be guided to your sailboat.
We are organizing 3 breakfasts, 2 lunches and 3 dinners. Also there will be some food and beverages on the sailboat. You are free to bring your own food and drink on the sailboat. Near marina is also a shop where you can buy some foods and beverages. If you have some special requests, please let us know in advance.
