About Ariane’s Cup

6 October – 9 October 2018

Marina Baotić, Ul. Don Petra Špika 2, 21218, Seget Donji, Croatia

The traditional sailing cup of the European Space Industry will feature more than a 100 sailing boats and over 900 crew members, making it the biggest multi-day regatta in Croatian history. A gathering of this scale and significance is a unique experience for any sailor, emphasized by the beauty of the Adriatic Sea.

First held in 1979, the Ariane’s Cup is the sailing cup of the European Space Industry. Every year members of the industry race against each other in seas all across Europe and the world. This year’s Cup will be the first time that the sailing crews will compete in the waters of the Adriatic Sea off the coast of Croatia. It will consist of 5 races, from 6th – 9th October.

We are the proud organizer of the 39th edition of Ariane’s Cup, having received the honor from the Oscar organization that usually hosts the Cup.

The participation in the Cup is reserved only for the members of the European Space Industry but feel free to contact us with any questions and inquiries and we will gladly help you.

The base marina for this years Ariane’s Cup will be Marina Baotić in Trogir, where all the crews will gather on 6th October. From there they will spread their sails and enjoy the sights of one of the most beautiful coastlines of the world, ultimately reaching Pakleni Islands and turning back to Trogir.
